Funk Soul Sister only uses top professional musicians who specialise in Soul/Funk lead by ex Acid Jazz guitarist Jay Smith (pictured).
Members have performed with/musically directed the likes of Donna Summer, Omar, Shola Ama, Des'ree, Carleen Anderson, Craig David, Gabrielle, Aaron Soul and Mica Paris as well as having releases on the legendary Acid Jazz Label.
They have also held residencies at esteemed venues such as The Fridge (Brixton), The Blue Note (Hoxton/Islington) and the Road House (Covent Garden), as well as appearances at the O2 Arena, The Jazz Cafe, Ronnie Scotts and Cafe de Paris.
